10 months or 304 days after I set off the 1000K in ten months challenge, to raise funds for Salford's young carers is over! 10 months of twisted ankles, broken fibula and numerous other bumps are over, as is 10 months of superb running in some beautiful & amazing places, times of total solitude, 10 months of great personal pleasure in all weathers, from snow to amazing sunshine, from gales to being driven of Snowden by driving freezing rain. Yes you guess it I enjoyed every moment and never forgot why I was doing it.

Towards top of Dove Crag-really hard work in wet bog or wet ankle deep snow...great March holiday
Almost there....view from Kinder Downfall on the last run on March 31st....total solitude as I passed one of my favourite places
The final trig point on Brown Knoll....now paved, gone the days of knee deep bog!! Thought of them before turning for home & completion.
