1000K Challenge-June update
If you thought I was mad when I set out on this challenge I think the first months activities will definitely give you the evidence you need.
The idea is to run/walk 1000K in 10 months to raise money for young carers activities/breaks in 2017/18 and if you view the videos and publications young people have made and are on the web site; www.salfordyoungcarers.org.uk you will understand why they need breaks why the need to be recognised and what they need access to opportunities so often denied them;
So 1st month gone and the update;
Runs/walks completed; 8 (all runs)
Distance travelled; 142.47k (88 Miles)
Ascents; 3,471 Metres (11,387 ft)
Money raised; £373
So only 858K & 9 months to go but if you want to donate now, or organise a donation from your work place, You can support this effort, by this old man with dodgy knees, by going to http://www.justgiving.com/Paul-Moran12
