Job Title: Outreach and Development Worker – 2 posts available

Salary: NJC Scale Point 23, £20,849 p/a pro rata

Working hours: 2 x 30 hours per week posts

Location: Salford Carers' Centre (base), working across Salford

 

Job Summary:

The role of the Development and Outreach Worker is to work as part of a team developing a proactive and effective Carers’ Centre which includes outreach, to provide support to carers across all Salford neighbourhood areas.

Part of this role will be to develop effective strategies to identify carers within the community.  The role will develop appropriate support ensuring that carers from a wide variety of backgrounds are aware of their rights and are receiving the support and services that they require.

The role will also provide information, advice and support to individuals and groups of adult carers as well as professionals and oher organisations.
