This is a great opportunity to influence how Rail Services are improved for the disabled

Disability Rights UK is working with First Group to improve services on the TransPennine Express, the train service which runs across the North West of England.

First Group want to make sure that their services are designed with disabled people in mind and have asked us to help them speak to people with a range of impairments and health conditions. We are particularly interested in hearing from people who have used the service before, but this is not essential.

We are running a focus group on 13th April in the afternoon at Manchester Friends Meeting House .  Timings are still being finalised but we expect the session to last no longer than three hours.

If you would like to attend, please respond by email to Natasha Fagelman at, clearly stating your own experience of disability or health condition, and whether you have used TransPennine Express before.

Please let us know in advance if you have any accessibility requirements.

Participants selected will receive £50 of vouchers as a thank you for being involved.
