Staying Safe On-Line

Salford Young Carers & Young Adult Carers works in partnership with Salford City Council in working towards all young people being safe in Salford. This includes being safe on-line.

The definition the partnership works to is as follows;

"Bullying is an unwanted behaviour that oppresses and intimidates another person, emotionally and sometimes physically. The behaviour is repeated or has the potential to be repeated and as a result makes the person feel unhappy and unsafe. A child or person affected can be bullied at any time."

So please remember keeping everyone safe is at the heart of Salford's anti-bullying and e-safety work. Help us support young people by looking at our own practices, help by increasing our own knowledge of an ever changing cyber environment, and as young people help by supporting your peers and keeping friends safe.
