Therapy Service Team Leader
Salary: £27,000 (dep on experience)
Hours: Full Time (35 hpw)
Location: Gaddum House, Manchester city centre (with travel across Greater Manchester)

Job Summary: You will be the Team Leader, responsible for the management of and supporting the development of our children’s traumatic bereavement service, children and family’s paediatric palliative care service, G.P. and adult counselling services. You will also be expected to manage your own small caseload, with travel throughout Greater Manchester.
Job Purpose: To provide leadership and ensure the effective delivery of these teams, sitting within the wider therapy services teams. You will provide line- management support to the staff within these teams, ensuring effective case load management, and services are delivered in- line with Gaddum business and service delivery plans. You will have responsibility for all aspects of operational delivery for these services, including the preparation of management reports demonstrating service performance and outcomes. You will also feed in to service development activities, supporting the Professional Governance Lead, and Interim Therapy Services Manager to drive continuous improvement. Page 2 of 7 You will also have a small case load, providing support to families caring for a child with a life limiting or life threatening condition and a therapeutic service for children and young people following the bereavement of a significant other. This may include one to one, couples and group work with adults and children. Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with parents, carers and other professionals is a crucial element of the role.
