Salford University are launching their Carer’s Policy and support service on Wednesday 10th December from 11.30 to 1.30pm on the Allerton Concourse. The University recognises that juggling studying, part time work, social lives with caring for someone on top of all this can be very hard work and in order to address this, Student Life are launching a package of support specifically for student carers.
The support will include Student Carer Support Plans, the first University in the UK to do so. The plans will outline the support you need to finish your degree successfully.
So come along to Allerton Concourse on Wednesday to find out more! If you are unable to make it visit http://www.advice.salford.ac.uk/carers . A few days after the launch, more detailed information about the support available to students with caring responsibilities will be available on the webpages.
