Panto time!

On 17th December, 45 Young Carers attended Salford Arts Theatre’s production of Jack and the Beanstalk.  As always, the theatre looked after us really well and all the Young Carers loved it and at times got so carried away that they were in danger of joining the cast on stage!  This is the 4th year we have been to the Panto at Salford Arts Theatre and once again we were all made to feel really welcome, and, despite the horrendous gridlock on the way there, the evening was enjoyed by all.  So thank you to the cast, and to the staff at the Theatre, for putting on such a great event.  And once again, we were joined by Steve Hindley from the Old Salfordians and special guest Kate Ford, best known as Coronation Street’s Tracy Barlow who presented cheques of  the funds kindly raised by the Old Salfordians.  The donation will be used to ensure that we can continue giving our young people a break from caring.  We are really grateful to Steve and to the Old Salfordians as well as Kate who took the time to answer questions from the young people, whilst being very careful not to reveal any spoilers!
